4 wheel driving, off road adventures are a real let down. Don't beleive the hype. The courses are not very challenging and most off road enthusiast in Sydney are particularly slow and careful. Not risk takers. Probably because four wheel drive recreational vehicles are so expensive over here. Bottom line, don't come to Sydney for off road adventures.
The bush land around Sydney has been decimated by introduced plants and animals. Many valleys have been taken over by weeds. ther is nothing spectacular about the Sydney bushland when compared to other international cities.
The beaches are the real reason to come to Sydney. You can hire bikes and roller blades and cruise the broadwalk.
