The Docks Hotel in Darling Harbour boast one of Sydney's most famous vistas. It's a short walk across the Pyrmont foot bridge or hop on the Monorail to the Harbourside complex. There is entertainment every night of the week. Wednesdays is Karaoke.

The Scubar under the YHA in Rawson St Haymarket is probably Sydney's most popular Backpacker Pub. The decor is very surfy and backpackers are made to feel welcome as the staff are very willing to join the fun. The atmosphere is upbeat and fresh probably because nearly everyone there is on holidays.

The Fringe Bar in Paddington is a great place to chill. Known for querky ambience it is popular with hospitality staff. Typical Pub meals of pizza and potatoe wedges are on offer, however the menu extends well beyond this.

There is comedy on Monday nights and Thursday Karaoke is a must do. Patrons are local for the most part, but due to its notoriety the Fringe draws people from all over Sydney, especially the progressive and open minded.
